Slocum & Ferris "DLT"

Submitted by BAX

This "DLT" sandwich is perhaps the most innovative take on a perennial favourite, the BLT. Bacon, the very essense of the BLT, is replaced with Bay of Fundy dulse. And it pops! It is delicious. If you can't wait to visit Slocum & Ferris in the historic Saint John City Market for a DLT, they'll ship their world famous fresh Grand Manan dulse to you. www.slocumandferris.com
Burrito with rice and beans

Submitted by davidmead

Mi Pueblo offers large portions for a reasonable price. This pork burrito was stuffed and I had half the next day.
Great value and really tasty.
Sweet & Sour Chicken

Submitted by davidmead

This China Sea offers great lunch portions for under $5. Sweet & Sour Chicken was all white meat with a nice crispy batter.
The hot oil on the table is always good too.
Chicken Jhalfrazie

Great first "lunch out" in 2008.
Nice big portion and was very spicy (which is how we asked for it). Chicken sautéed with tomatoes, onions and bell peppers along with Basmati rice and a plain Naan bread.
Corned Beef Rueben

Two dogs. One with kraut, one with chili and onion

Submitted by catscratch

I found this place on my birthday, picking up a new puppy with my girlfriend. What a great birthday miracle! I had never heard of this place before, so I didn't want to jump right in with two chili-dogs, so I got one with kraut. I should have got three with chili. Delicious meal! The fries were good too; krinkle-cut and crispy. Both hotdogs were excellent. Sabretts with a good, spicy chili sauce, and the kraut was good too. The only problem I had was the fruit punch I ordered to wash it down. It kinda tasted like Smarties candies. But at the end of the day, nice place, good service, good hotdogs, happy birthday me!
Two dogs. Chili and mustard. And a Lime Rickey.

Two delicious Sabrett-style, natural casing hotdogs with their special chilli, which is more like a spicy onion relish really. I like it with a bit of mustard and wash it down with a Lime Rickey (Lime soda with grenadine-not the same as a Shirley Temple; much better). Boulevard drinks is, without a doubt, the best hotdog restaurant in Jersey City. It has been there, across from Journal Square, since 1949 and I eat there at least once a week. I've eaten there twice this week. Matta'fac, I may have eaten there three times! Two doors down is the famous Landmark Loews Jersey movie theater that shows classic films once a month for $6. Grab a few dogs before going in and a popcorn and you're still under the price of admission at a multiplex, and the movie you are about to see is GUARANTEED to be good! The last movie I went to there was Sunset Boulevard.

Vegetarian Burrito

A place surrounded by big box stores along the I5. A bizarre logo. But packed. It's value for money from a quantitative perspective. I was full for hours.
