Duck Confit Pizza

Submitted by Cleansolomon

Heavenly pizza. Duck confit was prepared to perfection with just the right amount of fat; not too oily. Boursin goat cheese paired nicely with the duck. A touch of white truffle oil brought the whole pizza together.

I forgot the name of this pizza. But I do know if was tasty. The funny thing about this italian restaurant was that it was 100% staffed with Eastern Europeans.

Food in Ireland is definitely challenging for a vegetarian. So pizza is a safe bet. Somehow pizza tastes better in Europe.
Danish Blue Pizza

Submitted by Finn

We've moved to a new neighbourhood, away from Commercial Drive - home to great bars, restaurants and bistros, and to Killarney - home to homes, kids and parks. Great place to raise a family, not so great for dining options. But we've got to make the best of it, so we decided to try the local 2 for 1 pizza place. I wasn't expecting much but this pizza was pretty good. Spinach, Danish blue cheese, olives, sweet red onions and a subtle tomato sauce. What I really liked was the fact the fresh tomatoes weren't cooked, so they didn't go all mushy, and the blue cheese added a great kick. Take-out is the way to go from this joint though, two tables and an old bench make up the entire seating arrangement inside.

This website is influencing the restaurants I visit ('I don't want people to know I go here') and the meals I order ('I've posted this meal before') so I ordered the pizza instead of my usual Kung Pao. And hey, I liked it a lot.
Pesto Pizza

Submitted by Finn

Garlic, tomatoes, goat cheese, asiago, pine nuts and pesto. On paper it sounds great, in reality it was too oily and way too salty. Pesto I always find a bit salty, but it's manageable on its own. Throw in the goat and asiago cheeses, and it was overload. On their own each of those ingredients has a great salty tang. Together, well I couldn't finish my meal.
Vegetarian Pizza

Pizza Day at the office. Normally I won't eat Domino's pizza, but the money raised goes towards our Christmas party, so I played along. Ugh, doughy and unflavourful. I'm surprised the Domino's franchise is still around. I've had frozen pizzas that taste better.
Vegetarian Pizza

Totally unsatisfied from the Yama Bowl, I had to supplement my lunch with a slice of pizza. This was a little doughy, but otherwise edible.
Pizza Quatro Fromage

This is the best pizza in Aalsmeer. And the chance of running into a Dutch celebrity is high as the main TV studios are down the road.
Second Growth Pizza

After a morning of snowboarding at Sun Peaks near Kamploops BC, Canada, this pizza was very tasty. The place is a bit of a hole-in-the-wall and the staff has dreadlocks and wears t-shirt with "cougar in training" and "slightly stoopid".
