Burrito with rice and beans

Submitted by davidmead

Mi Pueblo offers large portions for a reasonable price. This pork burrito was stuffed and I had half the next day.
Great value and really tasty.
Stuffed Pork Loin

Submitted by Finn

Don't come here if you're put off by tattoos, piercings, ironic t-shirts and hats, but that's the only reason you shouldn't come. Yes the Doug Fir is hipster run, and attracts a mostly hipster crowd, but the service is excellent, prices reasonable and food is fantastic. Three pork loins stuffed with cherries, apples, hazelnuts and goat cheese. The pork was tender, perfectly season and not too "goaty", as many goat-cheese dishes can be. My wife dove in and didn't stop until the plate was clean. I'd consider that a five-star meal.
Chicken Chow Mein and S&S Pork

Submitted by Kootenay Kid

This is what I call Canadian-Chinese Cuisine. Living in a town with no fast food has many perks but when I head out on roadtrips I crave things like sweet and sour pork and chow mein.
Once it hit my stomach I didn't feel well at all.
Sweet and Sour Pork Rice Bowl

Submitted by Finn

One of my wife's favourite Chinese meals - sweet and sour pork. I question whether they do it well at a non-Chinese place. "It was good. I've had better." You mean at a Chinese restaurant? "Yeah." Suspicions confirmed.
Pork Tenderloin with pine mushroom sauce and spaet

Submitted by Kootenay Kid

The taste was incredible. Great presentation as well. I'm not a big mushroom fan but fresh wild pine mushrooms are worth every penny.
I've become very fond of Spaetzle as a side dish.
